Meet our Speaker
Tom is a research scientist with a Ph.D. in molecular biology and has spent over 20 years teaching about the use of natural therapies and lifestyle medicine. In addition, he has pursued a wide-range of biblical studies, especially the
importance of how the context, history and narrative of biblical events affect our understanding and faith. Tom has traveled to Rome, Syria and Israel (7 times) and has been blessed to interact with leading scholars who study biblical texts, history and geography
(primarily of the time period before and after the writing of the New Testament). Tom and his wife Lori have been married 27 years and live with 3 of their 6 children, near Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
We will also have chapel sessions where we will gather to worship and hear our keynote speaker. During these chapel sessions, there is a childrens program that will run for ages 4-10, and a nursery for ages birth-3.
Our annual fellowship supper and celebration service will take place during Harvest camp as well, and you will have the opportunity to hear about all of the wonderful things God is doing at Riverside Bible Camp.
We are so excited to see you there!
