LIFT
Leaders Inspired For Truth or LIFT is a summer missionary staff position at Riverside Bible Camp for young adults ages 18 and up. LIFT is designed to meet the needs of Riverside’s Summer Programs and to teach how to be God-fearing, intentional, spiritually and emotionally mature leaders through the experience of Cabin Leading, Worship Leading, Biblical Story Telling, and activities such as Games, Crafts, Song, and dance, as well as on-site building and maintenance projects. This is a great summer mission for an outgoing, friendly, creative person who wants to be used as an instrument to further the work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Do you have special qualifications such as Lifeguard or First Responder Certification, Musical abilities, love of children, or Organizational skills? Would you consider using those skills to make the ultimate difference in someone's life this Summer? Pray about it!

Cost
There is no cost to be a LIFT student. Room and Board for the summer are provided. LIFT students work together to create a menu for the week. Riverside provides the money for the groceries and the LIFTers get the chance to work together to plan, grocery shop, and cook each meal during the days there are no campers on the grounds.
Raising Support
Each LIFT student has the opportunity to raise support throughout the summer. Like any summer mission, all of the financial support raised is given to the LIFT Student. The goal of each LIFTer is to raise enough to cover the $210 a week. This is around $1,680 for the whole summer. However, if you raise more than that, you get paid more than that. All support raised above the $210 is paid to you on a bi-weekly basis. Each year you serve on LIFT the base weekly pay will increase.
Testimonies
Ashley Elmhorst shares her experience as a LIFTer in 2020:
"...LIFT was such an opportunity for me because I was able to learn and improve so many skills including, but not limited to programming, working computer apps, leadership skills, and relationship building. I’d been working at Riverside Bible Camp for many years on RSI, but this summer was really one for the books. I’ll never forget all the memories and fun times, and I’ll cherish the lessons I learned from the difficult situations. To anyone who asks, I’ll say that this is an opportunity of a lifetime and if you feel as if the Lord might be calling you to take this leap of faith, please do so! I promise you won’t regret it and I couldn’t be happier with the experience."
Emily Williams shares a moment where she was impacted as a LIFTer in 2019:
During Junior Week I would always ask before a breakout or devotional if someone would like to open in prayer. As usual, at the beginning of the week, no one would raise their hand to do so. Slowly throughout the week, the same girl kept volunteering to pray, then a few more, and so on. Then on the last night before our last devotional together as a cabin, I asked who would like to pray. Each girl raised her hand. Amazed, my co-cabin leader Sofia and I decided to have a circle prayer, giving each one an opportunity to pray. It was just so precious to see these young girls pray. It brought a few tears to my eyes and it ended with everyone giving me a group hug. Definitely, a moment I’ll remember for a long time.
